The eastern and southern lakes, with their long water views and quick freeway access to Minneapolis and the rest of the Twin Cities, are the most coveted. The next tier of desirable Lake Minnetonka lakeshore lots includes sheltered bays in the north and west that allow for recreational boating activities.
